STOP CHILD ABUSE!!!!

Awareness of child abuse has been spread all around the world to make us realize that we need to do some prevention to stop this child abuse from getting severe. Just imagine that a kid was harm physically  by irresponsible person and this will cause the child to remember the pain he or she felt when they were harm, and may cause a trauma. I don't want to see this happens to our youngster who will lead our country in the next generation.

Sex harassing also an acts of child abuse that I don't want it to happens. Children doesn't know how to defend themselves from this situation, they were force to do things that they weren't suppose to do and not knowing anything about it. 

Emotional harm by child caretakers could cause a child being emotional or mental disorders. This is cause by parents who using a bizarre forms of punishment to punish their children. This type of child abuse has to stop. 

I don't want these acts of child abuse to happens to our young generation.

PPS 2010 Dinner!!! XD

The Sabah College PPS dinner was held at Imperial Hotel (just near to CP)...This year dinner is not as fun as last year dinner maybe because there's no band playing but overall it turned out to be quiet fun. I do enjoyed all the performance that perform that night, including mine, LOL...Hope others enjoy the song I sing. Azu, Jenny, Khairi and Afiqah perform that night as well (azu and khairi= guitar, jenny and afiqah= singing).

Our dinner is supposed to end at 11pm but it was ended 1 hour earlier since there nothing more to do. So we snap a few pictures and here it is...

2010/10/01 MEMBUAT kajian mengenai kejadian manusia dan selain menyelidik budaya masyarakat negeri Sabah adalah impian Puteri Metro kali ini, Dewina Petrus Gurinting yang berminat mengetahui asal usul kejadian sesuatu benda di muka bumi ini.

Meskipun baru berusia 19 tahun, gadis keturunan Kadazan ini sangat berminat dalam melakukan kajian dan berharap hasil penemuannya akan membantu saintis seluruh negara memperoleh teori baru berhubung kewujudan alam semesta.

“Budaya masyarakat Kadazandusun akan pupus sekiranya tidak ia dipelihara dan diteruskan demi tatapan generasi akan datang.

“Sebagai anak jati Kadazandusun, saya ingin membawa adat budaya serta cara hidup masyarakat untuk dipertontonkan kepada dunia,” katanya.

Selain itu, anak bongsu dari tiga beradik ini juga meminati aktiviti skuba sekiranya mempunyai masa terluang.

“Pemandangan yang boleh dilihat di dasar laut adalah satu pengalaman yang sangat mengasyikkan dan berharap khazanah yang terdapat di dalamnya dapat dipelihara buat selama-lamanya.

“Kehidupan batu karang dan hidupan laut harus dipelihara dengan baik kerana keindahan semula jadi ini tiada gantinya sekiranya dimus­nahkan,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Dewina juga melahirkan perasaan syukur kerana dilahir di negeri yang mempunyai banyak lokasi skuba menarik seperti di Pulau Manukan, Sipadan, Mabul dan beberapa pulau lain.
“Saya sentiasa merindui keindahan dasar laut yang mengasyikkan,” katanya yang juga finalis Miss Borneo Tourism Queen International 2010.

Jungle Girl From Tambunan.

Last Sunday I went to rock climbing with Cynta and Nonok. Sadly and stupidly I forgot to ask Wawan to come with me, how can I not remember :) While waiting for them I snap a picture of me on that day, full of Asi-ness if you ask me.

Haha, not really asi like the way we describe it.

When Cynta and Nonok arrived, we went and register ourself. Our hearts were full of excitement and nervous, afraid of falling down or can't make it to the top I guess. :) I climb four times but I only made 3/4. I manage to get to the top for the 1st, 2nd and 4th climb, the 3rd climb was a bit hassle which really hurt my muscle and didn't have enough energy to pull myself up.

The instructor teach me how to tied up the safety rope.

Grab some chalk from the bag behind me, the reason for the chalk 

is so that you can have a better grip on the rock. In short, if your

palm is sweaty use the chalk. Ok here I go!!

And I'm off, making my way to the top :D

I'm made it to the top though.

Nonok was climbing at first but he gave up then refuse to climb again. But after one hour of waiting he became bored and start to complain to Cynta that he wants to go home. But we're not done playing yet, so this is his condition at that time.

Before going home, Cynta and I want to do our last climb, the 4th climb. We were looking any of the instructor who's not busy, but even though there is we are too shy to ask for it. Hahaha, lol. We waited then finally I got the guts to ask, haha.

I hate this part because most of the rock is small 

and make me hard to get a grip on it.

I have problem climbing this as well, and I 

often let my grip off though I don't really

want to. And my hand get slippery that time. XD

Anyhow, we enjoy doing this activity and decide to come again next week. Its a good activity to work out and build your body muscle especially the arms and the thigh. Hahah, looks like my tree climbing paid off, lol. Love Sports!!!

Family Celebration For Malaysia Day!!!

On Thursday is a celebration for Malaysia Day, in other word 'day off' for working people. So put down your papers and get ready for celebration!! My families decide to go for a picnic on that day at Nexus Lagoon, located at Karambunai. We had a blast!!! And not forgetting the sun burn (forget to bring my sunblock lotion).

When we arrived at the lagoon, Cynta came riding his dad bicycle and show us where they at (lol). Then we have our breakfast while waiting for Nancy.

Fine Music and Wine at Fresco

About a week ago if I'm not mistaken, the five of us went to fresco. I like the place for its amazing jazz and blues music and of course the wine as well. I'm not a very big fan of red wine though but its okay to drink it once in a while. The place is located at Jesselton Point same row with Cock & Bull, anyone who like to chill out and 'melepak' can go there and have some drink or dine at Fresco.

Spending time with my sister, cousins and aunt!! XD

Today is a special day for my lover and me. Is the day of our monthsary!! Yeah, whoever reading this or some of you who's reading this might think this post is a bit "eww-ness", well screw you then. :P

He surprise me with a bouquet of flower and not a fake flower but a REAL-LIFE flower, and no its not a planting flower in a vase if your wondering. And of course a usual couple thing-to-do is watching a movie. We went to KK Suria to watch "Going The Distance" movie which is a good movie to watch but it has an under age part of the scene (if you know what I mean). This movie is suitable especially to those who had a long distance relationship going on now, I strongly recommend this movie for you to watch :)

When The World Goes My Way

SATURDAY

Last Saturday I went to Daisy's work place at Youth Prep (Just in front of 1B), then I found myself bored to death and I decide to go 1 Borneo instead. I went to guardian and found LOTS of Doraemon stuff, not so many la, there's a few. Daisy ask me to buy thermometer to check on Bee's body temperature. So I bought this..

Then from Guardian I went to Toons to buy a voodoo doll, not to curse at people la, no benefits of doing that if I wanted to, is for my lucky charm :)....

Hahah, I bought this mini voodoo doll's named Professor X for my luck charm. This lucky charm is for your studies and carrier, there's also lucky charm for love, health and luck. I don't know why I'm so into this things, maybe because of the word 'Lucky charm', ahhaha, but no matter if its true or not, it sure boost up my confident about studying...Thank you Professor X...:)

SUNDAY

Last Sunday, I went to Servay penampang with my mum and guest again what I buy?? haha, if you guessing it has something to with Doraemon then you are CORRECT!! This is what I buy..

It chocolate paste inside though, not red bean. But you also can get read bean paste.  

Then went in the servay and buy some product for my face. My face has a lot of that blackheads and whiteheads thing that I really want it to reduce badly.....then a sales-lady recommended me to buy this..

realllyyyy work, I'm doing an experiment

for this XD...only can use 2 times a week.

This what it look like when you rub it through you face..

look disaster..) and this helps to open your pore too. after using this, then

wash your face so the blackheads get wash away. hahaha!!
